How to Root Galaxy C5

  1. Install the driver and unzip the Odin on your computer.
  2. Enable USB Debugging by going to Settings>>Developer options (If your device has not developer options enabled then go to About and tap on Build number 7 times).
  3. Power off your Galaxy C5 and boot into download mode by pressing and holding Volume Down, Home and Power button together.
  4. Connect your smartphone to your computer using a data cable.
  5. Open Odin tool on your computer.
  6. Make sure that only “Auto Reboot” and “F.Reset Time” is ticked in the options menu of Odin.
  7. Unzip the CF-Auto-Root file.
  8. Click on AP button and select the unzipped file.
  9. Click on Start button to begin the rooting process.

Once your phone reboot normally you can install Root Checker to confirm that it’s rooted.
