Guide to flash TWRP Recovery for Zuk Z1

  1. Install the USB driver and Minimal ADB and Fastboot Setup on your computer.
  2. Connect your smartphone to your computer.
  3. Go to About settings and tap on Build number 7 times to enable Developer Options.
  4. Open Developer options and tick USB Debugging option.
  5. Move the TWRP Recovery file into the folder where you setup ADB and Fastboot.
  6. Open the folder where you setup ADB and Fastboot.
  7. Press Shift + Right-click and select Open command window here to open ADB and Fastboot command prompt.
  8. In command prompt type “adb reboot bootloader” to boot your Zuk Z1 into bootloader.
  9. Type “fastboot devices” to make sure that your Zuk Z1 is connected.
  10. Type “fastboot -i 0x2b4c oem unlock-go” to unlock the bootloader of your Zuk Z1.If you already unlocked the bootloader then skip this step.
  11. Now type “fastboot -i 0x2b4c flash recovery TWRP-Recovery-File-Name.img” to flash TWRP recovery.Change TWRP-Recovery-File-Name with the name of TWRP Recovery file.
  12. Boot your Zuk Z1 into TWRP Recovery by typing “adb reboot recovery” into the command prompt.
  13. In TWRP Recovery you can normally boot your smartphone.

TWRP Recovery has been flashed on your Zuk Z1.Now it’s time to root your Zuk Z1.

 Guide to Root Zuk Z1

  1. Move the file into internal storage of your Zuk Z1.
  2. Power off and boot your smartphone into TWRP Recovery by pressing and holding Volume up and Power button together.
  3. In TWRP recovery tap on Install button.
  4. Select file.
  5. Swipe to confirm the rooting process.
  6. Reboot your Zuk Z1 normally.

Your Zuk Z1 is rooted after following this process.You can install Root Checker app from Play Store to confirm.

    twrp file cannot load from the command prompt
    so please help me how to i do it rightly

      Make sure that you moved twrp file into adb and fastboot folder and given the right command with twrp recovery file name.

    step by step process is success BUT
    twrp cannot load always cyanogen recovery loaded
